General Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Department Manager

Location: Liverpool, Auburn and surrounding areas

Full-Time: Monday – Friday

Non-Exempt: Starting at $41,600 – $52,000 annually depending on experience

What is a General Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a General Maintenance Technician.

The General Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the upkeep and repair of our facilities. This position requires proficiency in basic carpentry, flooring installation, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, and other general maintenance duties.

What you will do

• Conducting routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues
• Performing repairs and renovations as needed, including carpentry work, flooring installation, drywall repair, and painting
• Troubleshooting and repairing plumbing fixtures and systems
• Assisting with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems
• Handling basic HVAC maintenance tasks
• Maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
• Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Previous experience in general maintenance or related fields is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
• You must regularly stand, walk, crouch, bend, or kneel; use the repetitive motion of hands or wrists; fingers, grasp, handle or feel; reach with arms and hands.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
• Must have a valid Drivers' License
